These are actually quite nice. Fit really well, nice thin chamois, hold their shape well after numerous washings so the fabric is much better quality than many Cotton/Lycra stuff I've tried. Sizes do run a bit big. I haven't fit a small in 35 yrs, and these SM are actually on the Big side for a MD.
They don't seem to get water logged or sweat-heavy. Feel a bit like better qualify wool, but much more comfortable. I have a couple pr which have now seen about 150 commuting days each and don;t show any wear.
I use them for commuting every day, casual rides and when the weather gets a bit colder but not cold enough for tights or leg warmers...
