I had a BADLY mis-shapen Wrights W3N so I thought I'd go for broke. I dropped the whole thing in a bucket of water for 24 hours. I then wedged a steel tube and pieces of timber packing longitudinally under the leather top, braced against the saddle rails. Two sturdy cable ties around the whole thing and let it dry out naturally for just over a week, then cut the cable ties. Result - perfect shape again. Treated it with beeswax and it's still riding and looking good. If I had to do it again, I'd put some sort of cloth, leather or soft plastic padding under the cable ties because the edges of the ties have left small marks that now show, because the saddle top looks so new.
