Was catching my friend ( he was about a half mile ahead) and was down to about 200 yds after 9 miles, and I got a ****ing puncture. Rushed to fix rather than install the spare tube (because I wasn't sure if all of the thorn was out so reckoned a thick patch would stand up) and it went down again. had to keep stopping to pump up.
After this will be redoing it again at lunchtime. AAAARGH!!
