I'm not endorsing or scoffing at the idea, but salvaging one of those 2-piece (or is it actually 3-piece?) drop bars is the only way I know of to put grifters on road-bike-style drop bars, without having to resort to using a flat bar and bolting on those curved bar-ends... Because I know of no aftermarket sellers who offer those grifter-compatible drop bars.
