Enough of the people I ride with don't bother patching their flat tires so I tend to have a steady supply of good quality tubes with single holes. I wait until it's convenient to patch a bunch of them so it only takes a couple minutes per tube and the cost is about a quarter each for the patch and glue.
Not a flipper so I use some myself and give away others to people on a ride where I volunteer as SAG support.
