Yep, pretty much. It's much more efficient to just take everything to the sort center and send it back out again. That said, they have been doing some sorting at some of the local stations, but not much.

No one wanted to listen that it was just easier to have that big sort center handle it instead of some human...

Pretty much all the big shippers (UPS, FedEx, DHL) work that way.
