Yeah that makes sense. I have never bought anything like this or had any trouble like this. If there is still time i will lodge the thing ebay said as well to do which is that i received a faulty item or some such wording. I will do all those things as i hadn't thought of it. Thanks so much for your advice and will let you know how i go. I have already been looking at other bikes as i think this one is dead in my eyes!
