I had a Gran Turismo from the same era, rode it for several thousand miles of all-weather commuting. Nice bike.

You're right, Tmar is the expert, but I tracked down some info here that convinced me that it was made by Miyata (like many other Univegas, apparently). Sorry I don't have the link.

I loved the SR handlebars, by the way -- one of my favorite things about the bike.
