My SO and I are coordinated for old folks. We would have figured it out after falling over a few times. Our limited experience says that the captain can't be lazy about getting his butt in the saddle (which is how we fell over with ICS). Best solution is get strong enough that you don't have to stop on on stinkin' hills.
