Thank you for sharing your experiences. I purchased a Cateye Strada Cadence (wired) yesterday for $34 at REI.

I might have been dreaming, but I thought I saw the Double Wireless for sale at $56 at REI last weekend. The price increased to $75 on Monday . So, wired it is.
