I tried Dunkin' Donuts once, in Bangkok, of all places. It was the blandest sponge I'd ever had the displeasure to introduce to my mouth. Timmie's now centralizes the donut prep and frying, and sends the dough out frozen to its locations to be reheated (like all major chains), but it's still miles better than the competitors.
Because the competitors don't have dutchies. And dutchies rule.
