I stopped drinking beer about a month before a duathlon race in June of 2009. I liked the results so much that I have not had a single beer since. The results are very slow, but are noticable over time. I am down 25 pounds from the last beer I drank. It's all about making daily choices and those daily choices will solidify into healthy habits over time.
