Pop can stoves dirt cheap...as in free. And stove fuel is available just about anywhere.
FWIW I use a
white gas MSR mainly in the winter months for the fast heat and boil times. Summer I use a
Clikstand with a trangia burner (alcohol). Sometimes I take my
storm kettle with me, and use natural fuel.
