First off I hope this is the right forum to be asking these questions.

Currently I have a 84 peugeot with a Panaracer urban max tires 700c x 25x. I'm getting a different bike with miche pistard track wheels.

Can I put my urban max tires on the miche pistard wheelset?

What tires can I put on the peugeot that are any wider than the urban max tires, but can handle some hard packed trails and possibly some slippery/winter conditions? They'll mostly be on the road, but I'm looking for an all purpose commuter tire.
