It doesn't have a real bent seat because it's not really a bent. Nobody in bent circles has defined exactly where a bike stops being a bent, but this bike has you sitting more upright than most Safety Bikes would. You can't put a regular recumbent seat on it because there's too much drop from seat to pedals.
