Porsche 911 $90,000
Porsche Boxster $55,000

There was no way to know if this guy had a new set of porsches or old ones, or if he lived in his cars instead of having a pesky mortgage. But generally speaking poor people don't own porsches, let alone two of them! It isn't just that Porsches are expensive, it is that they are completely impractical, leading one to believe that if someone has a porsche or two, they are just play things. And, to have enough money to spend close to $150,000 on some toys, means one is rich.

With those numbers above, it does seem silly to worry about the cost of a bike rack. Of course, it has now been told that his cars are much older and far less expensive than a new car, but at first, I had the same reaction of "are you kidding?"
