Ha! I posted this very same subject in another forum I belong to dealing with small RV's and it just went right over their heads. When I started to camp, it truly taught me just how little we (I) need to be happy. That got me into researching the small house movement, off the grid living, etc. etc. I will some day soon check out of this system that so much drains resources of time, energy (of all kinds), and money.

Right now I'm single and live in a 2000 square foot house with a lawn that I irrigate (in the desert) and a pool that I don't use. Never again. This is my first home and last like this. And I was evolving like this long before the real estate crash too, so this is not reactionary, although the economy does confirm my convictions on the deepest levels.
