I have been using the A530's for a couple of years primarily in the clip in mode, however, I also ride problem free in just sneakers or clipped out around heavy traffic areas.
Now I prefer to be clipped in, whereas at one time a few years ago I wasn't too keen on it.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again or use them on another bike.
I haven't used theM324's.
