So I have been looking for a CX bike in a sub $900 range with Tiagra or 105 mix (just no freaking Sora).

Problem with all three - CF fork. In my other thread I was forewarned to switch out the fork to cromo, since I am too heavy for CF.

What has been your experience fellow big gents?

I really want to just get a bike that lasts me and I don't have to worry about knocking out my teet due to fork failure.
