I am presently using a standard Centaur front der for my wifes bike with an FSA carbon 50/34 compact, and it works just fine.

But, for bikes with a Shimano 105 group and a triple crank, can the front triple der be used if a 50/34 compact was to replace the triple crank? I know the 105 STI shifters are compatible, but was wondering if the triple front der is as well. Any takers on this one?
