WH Holdsworth

Hi there,

My other half is a bit of a bike enthusiast and has just bought a Holdsworth racing bike, green in colour. There doesn't appear to be a model name on the top tube but the frame number is 18569. From my initial investigations on the internet, I believe that the frame numbering was sequential and started from about 6000 in 1946 and went up to 30000 in 1969. I would assume from this that it would date back to roughly mid 1950s.

I am not sure what the model is but think it may be Whirlwind but that is a big assumption!

I would be grateful for any help anyone could offer in perhaps finding out if this is a Whirlwind, help a bit more with the date and a rough idea of what this is worth - or provide some details of someone who could help me a bit more.

Thanks y'all!!
