Cuz' I went canoeing with my dad down the Spokane River (Idaho/Washington) last Friday, things went great till we got to the Flora rapids at ten miles in. I biked by there 3 times a week last summer, thought they looked "fun". After we swaaamped the boat, floated for 10 minutes down a raging current in cold spring-timey water and cracked the boat on a big boulder, found out it was a class 2 rapid. I banged up both knees and bruised my left elbow. Pops got by with just a scratch on his leg. We lost the front seat too and a racing paddle (I'm getting too old for this nonsense). Pops thinks we can rebuild it, he had a lot of fun, I think (happy Mother's Day, Mom).

Anyway, I was able to mow the lawn today, I'll try and ride a bit tomorrow. Cheers.
