maddmax and BluesDawg are both on the money. Don't change the factory lube until you gotta. KMC have worked better for me than Wippermans. If I had the TWL's money I'd be using a Campy.
I always, always, always drop the FD when I know I'm gonna stop. I tend to try to orbit or trackstand at lights, this is very situation based, I will unclip if I know it's gonna be a long one because I don't want to make the SUVs and pickups nervous that I'll try to steal their place in line. I want to be able to spin up quick and not be "lugging" out.
