I'm a hobbyist wrencher, but I found that I only really enjoy wrenching on bikes that I can't wait to ride. Working on a bike is a great mental exercise of focus and detail. But riding the bike afterward is the real reward. I've sold several of my bikes over the past few years, but I haven't gotten to the point yet were I've intentionally bought a bike that was too small or too big just to resell it. I fear, however, that time is neigh. I enjoy the wrenching too much me thinks.
