Juvenile, but I have very much been similarly tempted.
Single-car household and the occasional transport of the baby keeps me off the bike for a few one-way trips a week...even that is no good. I'd rather take these 18+ mph headwinds to the face on every ride than drive a vehicle. People call me crazy
