Monday, Sep 13, 2010. 52F/11C. Overcast until I got to Cambie & Broadway whereupon it drizzled very lightly. Was riding with gears today. Chased a rabbit near River Rock casino to the CanadaLine bike bridge but never caught him (that disappointed me). Then while heading north on Cambie & 41st, I caught a mountain bike commuter and passed him. He caught up with me at the traffic light at King Ed.

Reaching downtown, I saw a white haired guy riding a road\hybrid bike with a medium sized tupperware container attached to his rear rack and a stack of flashing red lights mounted to the back of it. At the front, he has twin lights mounted to his handlebars with an additional accessories bar attached to his stem and another light there. In addition, he was wearing a visibility vest. I kinda felt naked with just my orange\yellow reflective striped viz. vest with flashing Planet Blinky attached to the back of my helmet.
