When I was about 4 I attended a day care that had a small petting zoo on premises. One of my earliest memories is being chased around the playground by a pissed off goose. It got a few good bites in before the teachers broke it up. Scary sh*t when those things are as big as you!
p.s. If you like black widows feel free to visit my house in the spring. Apparently word got around in the spider community that my house was a safe haven when we moved in 5 years ago. 4 years of spraying every spring and they still haven't got the message.
When I was growing up, I had one of
these guys. One year, we had a bit of a spider problem...and it just so happened, the lizard escaped. I thought I'd never see him again, but a week later, he showed up, sunning himself on the back of the couch, looking fatter than ever. The spiders haven't been heard from since.
