Yes it is a solid top,,,,,,the original ended up warping/bowing really bad from being in a humid storage area. My neighbor had a stack of rough cut oak and I hand planed a piece and oil/poly mix rubbed it out. I was pleased with the outcome. Thank you for the compliment.
