Don't let it discourage you, think of it as a challenge to hang on and you'll notice that with each ride you'll get stronger. My first group ride was pretty embarrassing because I thought I'd try an A ride under the assumption all of the miles I had ridden meant I was fast enough, needless to say I was dropped not too long after we left the parking lot.
