The reasons for most on here if the truth be known:
Vanity
Tradition.
Acceptance.
Posing.
Wound clean up. Whatever, but ok.
Cooler. Some merit.
Massage. Valid reason
Aero. Get real.
Chicks dig it. Not all. Maybe it reminds them of an "experimental" phase.
Those are pretty much the reasons for most people on BF, but it's actually less aero to shave your legs.
If you're pro, it's for massages (like jdon said). If it weren't for massages they wouldn't be able to ride grand tours, they're far more important than us mere mortals understand.
