Come on down to Hartsfield-Jackson. It's the busiest international airport in the world. It will re-define the way you use "suck" as an adjective for airports.
I'm talking facilities, not delays/traffic. By this measure, Detroit is one of the best I've seen btw. That airport is awesome. The main terminal is 80 gates, a mile long, and has a freaking train connecting the ends. During college I'd always have layovers there, and I'd just go to one of the many bars, eat taco bell then ride the indoor train back and forth.
