I actually like the Brooks ride a lot but find them somewhat impactical, having to avoid water at all costs unless it's on a bike with fenders. Getting caught in the rain sucks in general but saddle-induced paranoia is just too much work.

On my Circuit I use the original Concor Profil and like that a lot. Probably any one of those 80s Selle Italia/San Marco saddles a la Turbo, Rolls, Concor, Regal, etc., are great saddles with a similar feel to a Brooks (at least, I find the Concor is similarly comfortable). Maybe not as long-lasting, though.
