I tried a Brooks B17, and gave up waiting for it to break in after about 700 miles or so. Regals are comfortable right out of the box, have a beautiful C/V fit/finish about them, and weigh about 2 pounds less.
Every Brooks I get my hands on goes to eBay.
Yeah, I dig Regals as well, but not after fifty or so miles.
At that point, the extra weight of a Swift just doesn't matter for me.
The Brooks Swift can take me another fifty, and it has, while something about the Regal just doesn't work as well.
In town, I ride a B17 occasionally, but I'd concur that the Regal is my first saddle of choice.
