I've been riding progressively less and have been racing progressively more, now up the the point where I have 4 races 4 weekends in a row.. and even if I only ride hard and/or long twice a week otherwise I keep placing better.
Just getting stronger from racing hard I guess?
you're allowing your body to recover, which is a good thing.
