I've been riding progressively less and have been racing progressively more, now up the the point where I have 4 races 4 weekends in a row.. and even if I only ride hard and/or long twice a week otherwise I keep placing better.

Recovery makes you stronger. Training/racing breaks you down. You have a lot of good racing and enough recovery.
If I race 2x (Sun, Tue), at beginning of season I'd ride hard 1.5-2.5 hrs Mon and Wed (4 hard days). Recover couple days. Then dinky warm up Sat, 30-60 min.
At the end of the season, racing Sun and Tue, I'd do 1 hr another day or three easy, i.e. mainly recovery. sometimes I wouldn't even ride Sat.
Right now, 2 or 3/x week easy for last couple weeks, whenever I have time, no races.
