The chrome became visible after I stripped the paint. The cranks are Sugino Pro Dynamic s (I don't fully understand their signifance, and yet people are always asking). The component group is Shimano 600, the shift levers are campy, and the frame is clearly Japanese. The bike weighed under 24 lbs. as pictured in the "before" pictures. Except for the tires, saddle, handlebar, handlebar tape, and brake levers, I used the components on the bike as I found them.
