What, no ride report? We only saw one other tandem on our northern CA tour, a loaded Santana with a bearded stoker in Eureka. For some bizarre reason, single touring bikes are much more common. We must have seen 50 of those and had the pleasure of dropping two of them on the climb to Red Crest. Tandems rock!
