I was there too, IIRC you race for Westwood? The 95 starters on that course was absurd. It would have been a fun race if there was no yellow line rule or there were more like 50 racers.
I ended up top 20, passing a couple dozen people in the sprint, I literally could not move up during the race with so many people in the field.
My first race as a 3, not what I was looking for.

yeah it was pretty nuts with all those people. i was moving around a lot but just blowing tons of energy out of the saddle after every corner. did most of the group end up staying together until the sprint?
there is another crit in rockleigh next week - should be much nicer. also prospect park 10/3 . i have never been to prospect park though.
