2011 7.7fx. I think the 2010 model looked nicer with its white finish. Specs wise they seem pretty much identical except that the new model has an isozone thing in the handlebars and the front derailleur is a slightly newer version. Price wise I would expect the 2011 model to be a little bit more expensive as that seems to be the way it always works?
The differences are so minimal, I don't feel any pain for not having waited for this model. And as you pointed out, the color change IMHO is substandard compared to the pearl white one. The 2010 is going to be the Classic.
