Bottecchia bike owners
I have a Bottecchia CF 662 I bought over a year ago wondered if others like theirs as much as I do? I have 4000 miles and it has been great I did upgrade the brakes to ultra from cane creeks but the CC were still good. I also put an 11-23 cassette on and the tires are now Vred tri comps much better. I just think for the money I still cannot do as well anywhere else. The wheels are a little heavy but the Vulta xrps are solid never needed to even true them they are true as day one. The bike weighs 21 pounds for a 61 cm and 2 h2o cages.
I know some dislike the these Bikes for whatever reasons but just wonder how others like theirs? I had road an AL frame with a CF but this is so much better. It is a stiff frame I think others have said but I like the ride. I just wonder do bikes costing more really ride that much better? I just can think of CF bike with ultegra fr & rear derailers and 105 brifters, that would a better deal but I can wrench my own bikes.
