I'd be inclined to say yes.

Obviously I am a certain age/ gender/ rural/ etc

Many of you say no.

So I guess it is for some people. Yeah, I could walk home if needed. Or i could ride 20miles out of my way. I could ride in a monsoon. But I'd rather just have my phone.
