Garmin acquires MetriGear, adding cycling power to fitness portfolio

This is a great development for prospects of tandem power meters. Metrigear had ominously gone crickets-chirping, and had pulled out of Interbike. Just as the obits are being written, the announcement that Garmin is involved hopefully puts everything to rights, and helps accelerate the Vector's introduction. That the press release uses the A-word,
affordable, is also hopeful (especially for double-purchase tandems) Look-Polar weren't using the word affordable to describe their $2000 offering.
