Are you sure about the fake lugs? I used to own a 1987 Crescent made from Mangaloy 2001 which had Nikko lugs that looked very similar to these ones. Short point, but still "long" if you know what I mean. The seatstays are much prettier on this one though. Mine was made from hi-ten and less elegant.
