What happens when water or condensation get under grips that were applied with hairspray, soapy water, windex, wd-40, etc? They must slip around and take forever to dry up again, right? Especially if you're running a cable under it and giving water a clear path under the rubber!

When using compressed air, this is not an issue.

Plain water doesn't have much, if any effect under a grip. If it did, you people wouldn't have to mix it with soap to get it to help during installation. Mix a little dried soap or WD-40 with some rain water/sweat/condensation that somehow gets under the grip and you get a slippery mess.
