It is odd.

I was not certain I was going to stick with cycling when I re-started 2 years ago. My Schwinn proved a pia to fix up (it had been off the road for 20 years) so, I bought the Scatterini to be a modern functional bike during one of Performances stupid sales for around $1300 (a bit under as I recall).

I've decided to stick with it and slowly migrated all the original Scatterini stuff to the Schwinn. The only original parts on the Scattante are the frame and the brakes.

I do covet other bikes, but the damn thing just works. It's annoying that way.
