this should probably be in the mechanics forum. if your bike already has disc brakes then it is an easy upgrade.

perhaps you should visit your LBS first though and have them properly set your brakes up.

I love the BB7, they are my favourite, but even the off-brand disc brakes should give decent stopping power.
