Having a flat bar doesn't seem like much fun to me.

When we were riding with our Mayor the security detail on bikes had no problem with whistles. Anyway, it's about options and I do not want to give up a water bottle nor have my hands other then near my brakes so that leaves my voice and those who are not as loud moth as me they have fewer options.
