Different people are in different time zones. Some of us have different priorities, like wives and children, jobs, household chores. Remember the alimony payments reduce the money available for bike stuff. You said you were waiting for "the better half to make brunch". you could still be out riding. You stopped to make time for other relationships. I personally have a wife and special-needs child who needs his father around providing input in his life, not out on the bike all the time.
Why do you think it's called alimony. That's exactly what she gets .........ALL THE MONEY!!!
I'd love to bike all the time, but first things first. Can you spell dysfunctional relationship?
