I'm a Cat 2 in Colorado, and have to race against some pretty serious names in P12 races. I'd REALLY like to get a category 1 upgrade next year, and I think the best chance I have is to try to do some races out of state. Do you have any suggestions? I'm relatively good at TTing, ok at climbing, and quite bad at sprinting. An ideal race for me would be a stage race with an inconsequential Crit, and a few good hills. I'm currently looking through the NRC calendar, but only have experience with the Gila. Races with Cat 2 only fields would be much better than P12 or 1-2 fields.
