Winwood RT-10 vs. Nashbar - 1" Threaded Carbon forks

Winwood RT-10 carbon fork ~$140: http://www.lickbike.com/productpage....=%272720-01%27

vs.

Nashbar carbon fork ~$70: http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product...7_10000_200456

They both have carbon blades, aluminum fork crowns, steel steerer tubes and weigh about the same. The only difference is the Winwood has a rake of 45mm and the Nashbar 43mm. Oh and the Winwood is double the price of the Nashbar.

So, two things: does the Winwood cost more because it is 'nicer' (better quality?) or is it purely a brand name thing? Also, is a rake of 43mm tighter than 45mm?

I'm thinking of just pulling the trigger on the Nashbar fork, but if the Winwood is worth the money I would be willing to spend the extra cash (I plan on doing a lot of riding on it).

Thanks.
